Dr. Stephanie Gilbert is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Management in the Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University. She earned a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Saint Mary’s University, a Master of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University, and a BA (Honours) in Psychology and Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Dr. Gilbert has worked with a variety of industries including healthcare, non-profit, for-profit, and start-up businesses. She has applied her psychological and health sciences backgrounds to design evidence-based business solutions and to develop and validate organizational assessment tools. Dr. Gilbert’s research activities focus on occupational and personal stress in the workplace, employee health and well-being, organizational leadership, and motivation at work. She teaches in the areas of leadership and organizational behaviour.
