Stephanie Savage

In addition to my MLIS I hold an MA in English Literature from Concordia University.
I've been a professional academic librarian for 4.5 years and received a confirmed appointment (librarian tenure) at UBC in September 2020.
I conduct research on Canadian copyright and am currently working on a qualitative analysis of the Statutory Review of the Copyright Act with my research partner, Jenifer Zerkee, Simon Fraser University.
We anticipate there being some newsworthy copyright developments in the near future (eg term extension due to CUSMA aka NAFTA 2.0) and believe we can offer a unique perspective on these issues.
