Stuart Brookes

My research interests lie in the field of early medieval history and archaeology. I am particularly interested in geographical approaches to state formation, and the spatial manifestations of culture. I am a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and have held research posts at the University of Nottingham, University of Oxford, and UCL.
