PhD Candidate, Monash University

Sugata is a PhD Candidate at the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment at Monash University. His research is focused on the atmospheric dynamics of the Australian Monsoon in climate models.

Prior to pursuing a PhD Sugata worked at CSIRO, contributing to climate change projections for Australia and the Pacific. He also has experience working in engineering hydrology.

Sugata's research interests include atmospheric dynamics, climate change, rainfall and atmospheric convection, water resources, flood modelling, soil moisture, and drought.
