Professor (Sunil) BT Maharaj holds the Sentech Chair in Broadband Wireless Multimedia Communications at the University of Pretoria and is also the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology (EBIT).
He hold a BSc Eng (Electronic), MSc Eng (Electronic), MSc Operational Telecommunications and PhD Degrees.
He is a registered professional engineer PrEng, and a Fellow of the South African Academy of Engineering (FSAAE).
