I study ice-ocean interactions around Antarctica at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, CA. We use satellite data, computer models of the ocean and atmosphere, and extensive field observations to look at how Antarctica's floating ice shelves are changing. My previous work was in Theoretical Physics at the University of Manchester, and Mathematical Modelling at the University of Oxford. At Scripps, I have also worked on using a large network of data from GPS stations to precisely measure the changing water distribution across the continental United States.
