Tamanisha J. John is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics at York University. Dr. John studies Caribbean development, sovereignty and politics, as well as Canadian foreign policy, economic imperialism, financial exclusion, and corporate power. Dr. John holds a PhD in International Relations from Florida International University and an MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Florida International University as well.
