Tamanisha J. John is a Ph.D. candidate of International Relations at Florida International University (FIU) where she studies Caribbean development, economic imperialism, financial exclusion, and Canadian overseas banking. She holds a Masters in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from FIU. Her research interests include: Caribbean Sovereignty and Politics, Settler Colonialism, Island Economies, Transnational and Multinational Corporations, and International Political Economy.
