Tania Romero Allsop

Researcher at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Bacterial Pathogens, Institute of Microbiology, Czech Academy of Sciences

After graduating with a BSc in Biology at the University of Málaga (Spain) and dedicating one year focusing on Molecular Genetics at Radboud University (The Netherlands), I was drawn to the wild field of pathogenic microorganisms. Hence, I obtained an MSc in Microbiology and Human Health at the University of the Basque Country (Spain). Currently, I am researching the pathogen-host interaction of the bacterium Bordetella pertussis, the causative agent of whooping cough.
