Tapio Simula

Tapio specializes in computational and theoretical physics with a particular interest in topological excitations such as quantized vortices and quantum turbulence in superfluid Bose-Einstein condensates. He received his Doctor of Science in Technology degree from Helsinki University of Technology in 2003 and has since then accumulated over a decade of international postdoctoral research experience having held positions at universities in New Zealand, Finland, Denmark, Japan and Australia.
