Lecturer in Politics and International Studies, The Open University

Tendayi is a Lecturer in Politics and International Studies at the Open University in the UK. Her research explores the relationship of individual noncitizens with States and with the multi-State system. She is currently researching the way in which civil society engage with the process towards the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration.

She is author of 'Noncitizenism: Recognising Noncitizen Capabilities in a World of Citizens' (Routledge, 2018) and co-editor, most recently, of 'Understanding Statelessness' (Routledge, 2017).
