Thomas completed his BA in psychology with computer science minor at the University of Waterloo and his MA in psychology at the University of Toronto. His research involves building an understanding of meta-awareness - the moment we notice we were not paying attention - and tools for enhancing meta-awareness, such as meditation, from a cognitive neuroscience perspective. He has also researched psychedelic microdosing and has a strong commitment to open science. Thomas enjoys dark chocolate, classic literature, and, in general, decadence.
