Thomas Richardson

Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology, University of Southampton

I am a Clinical Psychologist an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working as Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology within the School of Psychology, University of Southampton. I work across the Diploma in CBT and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

I joined the university in 2021 having previously worked in an NHS community mental health team for adults for 8 years.

I am involved in various research projects, my main research interests are in the link between financial difficulties and mental health problems:

I did my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Trinity College Dublin and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southampton qualifying in 2013.
