Economist and Lecturer in Management, Keele University

Tolu Olarewaju is an Economist and a Lecturer in Management at Keele University. He currently lectures on a range of topics primarily focused around the areas of international business management, commerce and business strategy.

Tolu’s present research interests centre on entrepreneurship, international business, business economics, management, the use of technology and areas encompassing social, labour, regional and general economics. He is particularly interested in research that might have policy implications as well as areas incorporating poverty reduction and economic development. He publishes in the top journals in these fields and has contributed to the Encyclopedia of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Tolu also has industry experience both as a banker and an entrepreneur. He holds a BSc in Economics, an MSc in International Economics, and a PhD in Management (Economics).
