Tom Emanuel

The Rev. Tom Emanuel is a theologian, Tolkien scholar, and doctoral researcher at the University of Glasgow. His current project explores the reception of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings among twenty-first century audiences and is funded by an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) doctoral partnership with the Scottish Graduate School of Arts and Humanities (SGSAH). His work has been published in the Journal of Tolkien Research, Mallorn, Mythlore, and Tolkien Studies. He also serves on the editorial board of Mallorn.
