Senior Lecturer in the Translational Imaging Group, UCL

Tom Vercauteren is a member of the Translational Imaging Group (TIG), part of the Centre for Medical Image Computing (CMIC) at UCL.

Prior to this, he worked for Mauna Kea Technologies. He joined the company as a PhD student and then research engineer before becoming New Technologies Manager, identifying emerging technologies and supporting their acquisition within the company.

He received his PhD, co-supervised by Nicholas Ayache and Xavier Pennec at the Asclepios Project-Team in Inria Sophia Antipolis, in 2008 from Ecole des Mines de Paris. He also obtained an MSc in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University in 2004.
