Torge Rempe, MD, is an assistant professor with the department of neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Additionally, he is the William T. And Janice M. Neely professor for research in multiple sclerosis.
Dr. Rempe attended medical school at the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel in Germany, with one year spent at the University of Murcia in Spain. He graduated with his medical degree in 2012, then, he pursued his postgraduate neurology training in Germany at the University Hospital of Schleswig-Holstein.
After his preliminary year at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York, Dr. Rempe completed his neurology residency at the University of Florida. The following year, he finished his clinical neuroimmunology fellowship at the University of California San Diego.
Dr. Rempe is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and he is licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and California. His clinical and research interests include multiple sclerosis, neurosarcoidosis, neuroimmunology, neuromyelitis optica, MOG antibody disease and autoimmune encephalitis. He has contributed to many publications, and he speaks German, English and Spanish.
