I am a children’s rights academic who specialises in older children. I examine the intersection of law with other disciplines to show how transitions from childhood to adulthood could be reflected in law.
I have worked within education for many years and this has shaped my research examining the increased capacity of adolescents to make autonomous decisions as they approach adulthood. My publications are all related to the rights of children and young people across health, education, social work and law.
