Vadim Taraban is the leader of BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science programme at Solent University Southampton and a visiting research fellow at University of Southampton and Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London. Born in Russia, Vadim graduated as a medical doctor, specialised in clinical immunology and developed his career conducting biomedical research and teaching undergraduate students both in Russia and the UK. The main area of his research interests is T-cell responses and immunotherapy against cancer.
