Veloshnee Govender

Veloshnee Govender is a health economist and health policy and systems researcher, currently working with the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (WHO, Geneva). Veloshnee's prior experience include the Health Economics Unit (University of Cape Town, South Africa) and Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore, India). Veloshnee holds an honorary senior lecturer post in the Health Economics Unit (University of Cape Town). Her research interests cover a diverse range of health systems and health economics topics including health system reform, gender and financing, gender and equity issues in the context of TB/HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
