I am a human geographer with a special interest in climate change, disaster risk reduction, urban geography, and sustainability.

My past research has explored the implications of climate change and urban heat on new release developments in Western Sydney, and ways in which vulnerability and resilience are shaped by underlying factors ranging from community engagement to government power relations.

The goals of my work are to:

Understand how climate change will affect those living in new release developments in urban fringes.
Consider ways to improve liveability in a climate changed world.
Challenge underlying structures that may enhance vulnerability and limit resilience.
