Wanjiku Gichohi-Wainaina

Public health nutritionist with over 10 years of experience in nutrition and health research. Her current role is to define and provide leadership to ICRISATs' nutrition research agenda globally and in east and southern Africa specifically. Her research utilizes an inter disciplinary food systems approach. Key in this approach is conducting research that elucidates linkages between agriculture end nutrition and health. With this research she generates learning outcomes for effective delivery of programs targeting to improve nutrition and health.
