Lecturer in Politics, Glasgow Caledonian University

William completed his PhD at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) in 2013 and currently also lectures in politics at GCU. His thesis explored an asbestos pressure group in the UK.

He has taught modern twentieth century British history and politics and multi level governance exploring Scotland, Britain and the EU.

William is interested in different political actors, agencies, organisations and institutions and how they overlap and interact at different levels of government particularly in scotland and the EU.

William has written journals and articles developed from his PhD as well as on the themes of comparative history and politics.
