My research focuses on the history of the British Conservative Party from the late 19th century onwards. Before moving to the UK, I completed undergraduate degrees in law and history at the University of Adelaide, Australia. I then stayed in Adelaide for a research master's, and wrote a thesis about the Conservatives in opposition after the Second World War. I am currently attempting to finish a PhD on the Conservative and the role of the state between 1929 and 1940 at University College, Oxford.
