Chairperson of the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council, Indigenous Knowledge

I am a proud Wiradjuri woman maintaining strong ties to my homelands of Cowra and the Riverina areas of New South Wales.

From a young age I developed a strong passion and commitment to bringing about positive change for Aboriginal people and communities. I have a passion for improving the lives of all through health, social justice, Aboriginal rights, children/youth rights, education, child protection, minimizing our carbon footprint, community wellbeing, research and evaluation.

I am the first Aboriginal-Australian candidate for Lord Mayor of Sydney. I am currently the elected Chairperson of the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council, Deputy Chairperson of the NSW Australia Day Council, Board member of Domestic Violence NSW and Board member of Redfern Jarjum College. I have held key positions in NSW Government and Aboriginal Community Controlled sectors.
