Resource for media

Steal our content (no, really)

We publish all our content under Creative Commons, which means that provided you follow some simple guidelines – essentially attribution and no re-editing – then our articles are yours to share and re-use. And it’s free.

Our authors are academic experts so you can rely on well informed and sourced content.

Our editors are professional journalists so you can rely on well edited, high quality content.

Our content is subject to an Editorial Charter, so you can rely on the fact-based, independent and ethical journalism.

How to use our content

The easiest way to stay across our content is to sign up for our daily newsletter.

To republish, all you need to do is adhere to our simple guidelines.

It is a condition of our guidelines that you use our page counter (guideline #5), which is a small pixel ping image (invisible to the eye) that allows audience to be counted. This is important for our academic authors as they need to know (and report) how many people have read their content, and in which publications. To include our page counter, use the “republish” button that accompanies every article.

New ideas, new experts

We hope our content will also be a resource of ideas and people for you to follow up.

You can follow specific topics through custom searches by creating a reader profile.

Our author profiles carry each author’s contact details if you want to contact them directly.

If you have general enquires about republication please contact republish@theconversation.edu.au.
