Associate Professor of Marketing, Excelia

J. Khenfer est professeur associé de marketing à Excelia Business School. Il a rejoint Excelia en 2023 après plusieurs années passées à l’étranger. Son expérience professionnelle internationale inclut les États-Unis en tant que chercheur invité à Duke University et les Émirats Arabes Unis en tant que professeur assistant à Zayed University. Dr Khenfer est titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences de gestion obtenu à Aix-Marseille Université (IAE Aix-Marseille).
Ses recherches sont de nature expérimentale et s’intéressent à des problèmes managériaux nés de variations dans le sentiment de contrôle perçu des consommateurs. Les implications marketing de ses recherches s’inscrivent la communication marketing, le marketing numérique et le marketing social. Ses recherches ont été publiées dans des revues de marketing et de psychologie de premier plan, dont Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Marketing et Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, parmi d’autres.

J. Khenfer is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Excelia Business School. He joined Excelia in 2023 after years spent abroad. His international professional experience includes the United States as a visiting scholar at Duke University and the United Arab Emirates as an assistant professor at Zayed University. Dr. Khenfer holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Aix-Marseille University (France).
His research addresses problems related to variations in consumer perceived control, that is, the belief that one can make positive things happen while avoiding negative outcomes. This, with implications in several aspects of marketing, including marketing communication and advertising, digital marketing, and social marketing. His research has been published in top-tier marketing and psychology journals, including Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Marketing, and Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, among others.
