Robert Ralston is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the University of Minnesota. He studies international security, public opinion and human rights. His dissertation examines the politics of international decline.

Ralston received his B.A. in political science from Winthrop University and in 2014 completed an M.A. in political science from Virginia Tech.
