PhD student in Biomedical sciences, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR)

I did my bachelors in Neuro Technology from JIPMER, a medical college and hospital in Pondicherry, India. It is a basic medical sciences course where I learnt and performed on patients all the neuro diagnostic tests such as Electroencephalography , nerve conduction studies, cranial dopplers, Autonomic Function Testing and also therapeutic tests like Functional electrical stimulations and cognitive tests in stroke rehabilitation wards. My Masters is from University of Madras, Chennai which was more animal model research-based and my dissertation was creating a viable demyelination model in Sprague Dawley rats. I learned and equipped myself in animal handling and histology. I am currently doing Ph.D at UQTR in the department of Anatomy under the supervision of Dr. Johannes Frasnelli. I work in the field of chemosensory research focusing of olfaction and its correlation with neurological disorders.
