I am a professor at the Institute of Marine Sciences of the University of Quebec at Rimouski (UQAR-ISMER) with expertise in environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology. I graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2014 and then conducted postdoctoral research at Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) before I joined UQAR-ISMER in 2018.

My research centers on elucidating the sources, occurrence, fate, and impacts of anthropogenic contaminants in the environment. In recent years, I have been particularly interested in investigating the environmental processes and impacts of microplastics and plastic-associated contaminants in the St. Lawrence ecosystems and the Arctic.
