Quick disclaimers reduce sales

Quick disclaimers read out at the end of TV and radio advertisements can reduce brand trust and negatively affect sales, research from a US university has found.

New and unfamiliar brands which run fast disclaimers at the end of TV or radio ads risk losing business, although well-known brands are not affected, the study found.
